Judy Cook

Judy brings a level of knowledge and experience, coupled with a unique perspective in real estate education, rarely seen in the industry. She is widely regarded as one of Nevada’s most engaging property management speaker/trainers, offering up-to-date and useful information in a comfortable, varied, and interactive format. She is a licensed Nevada real estate Broker-Salesman and Property Management Permit holder, with over 30 years’ hands-on experience in the industry. Cook owned and operated Bradford Properties, a Reno company providing property management services for residential rentals, small commercial properties, and common-interest communities in the early 1990′s. After several years as Bradford Properties, Judy sold that business in favor of pursuing her interest in teaching property management classes, and consulting. Over the years, Judy has been called in as a trouble-shooter for many of Nevada’s best-known real estate and management firms, having successfully guided those companies toward profitability in their property management operations.

Judy and her family relocated to Nevada from southern California in 1974. She raised her daughter here, and is blessed to have most of her family still remaining in this area she loves to call “Home”. In a business approach she likens to “Fruit Salad”, you’ll most likely find Judy posting blogs, editing presentations and websites, proofreading and posting to Twitter, Facebook, and other networking sites for others. Under her business “The Comma Queen,” she helps other busy professionals stay current with their internet and social networking presence. Judy also enjoys crafting sterling silver and gemstone jewelry under the name of “Judy In the Sky“, and can often be found hiking in the Verdi foothills with her dog Maghi, bringing home rocks, feathers, and wildflowers picked up along the way.
